Job Description

Responsibilities: 

• Mixing and serving drinks: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer, and mixed drinks.
• Serve food to customers eating at the bar. 
• Maintaining the bar: Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked. 
• Prepare garnishes and maintain ice and glasses. 
• Customer service: Greet customers, take orders and interact with customers. 
• They may also advise customers on drinks that suit their tastes. 
• Handling payments: Collect payments from customers for drinks and use a POS to take orders and payments. 
• Ensuring legal drinking age: Check photo IDs to ensure customers are of legal drinking age. 
• Refusing service: Check and refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive. 
• Ordering supplies: Bartenders may submit orders or create requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies. 

Requirements: 

• Candidate should have extensive knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails and be certified or licensed. 
• They should also be organized, proficient in inventory management and POS systems;
• Have a positive, friendly, and outgoing attitude.
