JOB TITLE: Compliance Analyst

LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid in our Westwood Office: 3 days on-site; 2 days remote)

REPORTS TO: Senior Counsel

The Role:

We are currently seeking a highly organized, driven, and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our expanding and dynamic Legal & Compliance team. This role will involve conducting comprehensive compliance assessments and reviews, as well as managing various licensing responsibilities to ensure regulatory adherence and support organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Supporting the Legal & Compliance team in the design, implementation, and execution of various compliance assessments and reviews related to our products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to efficiently gather and organize documents and information requested by regulatory agencies for licensing reviews and annual reporting.
  • Managing the preparation and submission of license applications, as well as overseeing the timely renewal of existing licenses.
  • Assisting in the management of complaints and litigation-related matters.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • What You Bring to the Table:

    • Prior internship or work experience as a Compliance Analyst or in a similar role
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while consistently meeting deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex, technical, and critical matters clearly.
    • Proven track record of effective collaboration and coordination with team members.
    • Comfortable working with data and numerical analysis.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
    • Paralegal certification is a plus
    • Relevant experience in regulatory compliance is advantageous, but not necessary.

    How We Pay: 

    • We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership.
    • We are targeting an hourly rate of $25 to $30
    • This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
