🧪 We're Hiring: CPD&D Laboratory Technician (Microbial Media Preparation Contract Technician)

📍 Location: Indianapolis, IN (9330 Zionsville Rd)

🕒 Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (some flexibility)

📅 Duration: 12 months (possible extension) Opportunity for contract extension

BC Forward is seeking a motivated CPD&D Laboratory Technician to join our client's microbial media preparation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to grow their lab experience in a team-oriented and safety-focused environment .

🔬 Responsibilities:

• Prepare microbial and plant growth media using sterilization and dispensing equipment (autoclaves, mediaclaves, liquid handlers, etc.)
• Manage media orders and maintain lab inventory
• Clean, maintain, and reassemble media preparation equipment
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Keep workspace organized and compliant with safety protocols
• Collaborate with internal teams to schedule tasks and manage requests

🎓 Qualifications:

• Required:
• High school diploma minimum
• Experience in a lab or manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with aseptic technique
• Preferred:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field
• Experience with lab equipment and media preparation
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
